About Us Capital Markets Gateway (CMG) is a financial technology firm that is modernizing the equity capital markets (ECM). CMG connects investors and underwriters via a neutral platform that delivers integrated ECM data and analytics, transparency, and workflow efficiencies.

The Role Description We are searching for an engineer focused on our DevOps, infrastructure, reliability, and tooling. While this is a DevOps position, you'll be part of a team focused on building and maintaining an enterprise-level, cloud infrastructure for microservices and cloud-native applications running on Kubernetes. The person who joins our team will be encouraged and empowered to influence new solutions that will keep our technology running smoothly and with high availability for our customers.
Responsibilities Design and implement tools and technologies to provision and configure an enterprise software system hosted in KubernetesProvision, configure, and maintain cloud resources using Terraform and TerragruntActively monitor the application environment and respond to incidentsConduct root cause analysis for production incidentsOversee the environment to reliably run and maintain the applications and recommend any potential improvements to technology or processContribute to team planning to solve engineering challengesBe a dependable and highly skilled development resource for peers through education and reviewHave a broad awareness of related projects and industry trends, and encourage innovative practices among peersAdvocate and model coding and collaboration practices, review team code and provide team members with feedback and suggestions for process improvementDocument and demonstrate solutions through written documentation, diagrams, and readable code Requirements Kubernetes Container Orchestration, Docker: 2+ yearsAzure cloud infrastructure: 2+ yearsExperience with system monitoring and alerting.
