Overview We are seeking a full-time Dealer Inside Sales Team Lead in our Santiago, Chile location. In this role, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of all Garmin Chile Specialized Dealers and Retail, ensuring to build relationships with assigned accounts to promote the Garmin brand and increase market share. Essential Functions Lead a team of Inside Sales Reps with diverse capability levels across various product markets and dealer segments. Manage sales related activities on a day-to-day basis including initiating new relationships and maintaining positive rapport with retailers. Develop new retail sales and develop territory through cultivating and expansion of sales with existing accounts. Prepare sales forecast, educate dealers on products, and manage large accounts with excellent project and communication skills. Create/make sales presentations to prospects and existing accounts. Daily Meetings with Dealers, assuring appropriate attendance, and providing assistance to team members with day-to-day issues and meeting target numbers. Observe Dealers accounts, continually looking for ways to improve/develop for better efficiency, sales, projects and new ideas for growth. Conduct monthly one-on-one associate progress sessions. Conduct team/departmental meetings as needed or directed by department management. Work with Human Resources to address associate relations issues as needed including writing/conducting annual performance evaluations. Oversee training/mentoring of associates in the art of Dealer Sales and Customer Service. Maintain open and honest communication with team manager, ensure team meets overall development goals in accordance with market requirements, and ensure project milestones are met. Motivate the team and build healthy relationship with each team member. Run/analyze reports and develop action plans for both teams and individuals. Coordinate dealers contact strategies with other internal groups such as Regional Product Trainers. Achieve and maintain excellent product, pricing and systems knowledge. Maintain knowledge of current marketing programs and how to administer them. Represent Garmin at industry and professional meetings, trade shows and conferences. Able to travel with little/no supervision, coordinate, and represent Garmin at industry and professional meetings, trade shows and conferences and complete timely and succinct trip and status/market reports. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience performing a customer service, an inside sales, or a sales role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated proven track record in meeting established goals. Demonstrated leadership in individual and team situations in current role. Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others. Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well with others under challenging circumstances. Must possess knowledge of Garmin's product lines and customers. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment. Desired Qualifications: 1+ years of Garmin experience. 1 year of experience in Garmin Inside Sales. Previous supervisory / leadership experience. Fully knowledgeable in all aspects of order entry system with a thorough understanding of Oracle management and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
