In this key role, the Coupa Regional Support Specialist will focus on the maintenance, improvement, and strategic support of the Coupa platform. The Specialist will be responsible for integrating Coupa within the existing procurement landscape, involving multiple systems such as SAP and Mincom Ellipse, to maximize efficiency and support compliance. This role will also ensure that our procurement processes align with corporate standards and support the risk management requirements across the region.
As a Coupa Regional Support Specialist, you'll take on a multifaceted role, offering technical expertise and leadership around the use of Coupa within various business processes. This role involves:
Providing technical support for Coupa, including troubleshooting, configuration, and improvements to the system to align with evolving business needs. Developing business cases for new Coupa features, modules, or products, performing research, and integrating innovations that enhance our standard procurement systems. Overseeing integrations between Coupa and other ERPs like SAP and Mincom, as well as supporting systems such as Boomi and PowerBI to maintain an interconnected procurement ecosystem. You will be a subject matter expert for Coupa S2P (Source to Pay) and procurement standards, helping guide colleagues across different regions and ensuring that Coupa aligns with organizational goals. This role requires a unique blend of functional and technical skills, along with experience in S2P or related ERP systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating complex technical issues into understandable solutions for diverse audiences, equipped with project management expertise, and capable of fostering collaborative learning environments across departments.
The position reports directly to the Coupa Global Support Manager and works in close partnership with regional middleware and support teams. This specialist role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in S2P, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities Represent regional requirements in the Coupa Change Control Board, ensuring the Coupa platform supports compliance and procurement goals. Customize, test, and implement new Coupa features to enhance business processes. Coordinate closely with ERP support teams to facilitate seamless integration and alignment of initiatives across systems. Regularly analyze and report on KPIs to track the value Coupa brings to each site, identify new improvement opportunities, and share insights with local teams. Configure Coupa Risk Assess to meet compliance requirements, support vendor onboarding, and manage program adaptations as compliance needs evolve. Lead internal communication for Coupa rollouts, enhancements, and updates, ensuring clear information flow to all stakeholders. Maintain up-to-date functional design documentation, ensuring consistency with system changes and alignment with Glencore's procurement standards. About the profile: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field, with 5+ years in S2P environments. In-depth knowledge of Coupa S2P and ERPs (SAP, Mincom). Strong skills in data analytics and reporting, with PowerBI experience preferred. Proven leadership, project management, and communication skills. Fluent in English and at least one regional language; ability to travel as needed.
