Country Marketing/Comms Leader for South Cone (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay) We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing & Communications team at Marsh McLennan . This role will be based in Santiago de Chile . This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The Country Marketing & Communications Leader will grow, scale, and lead a dynamic Marketing & Communications team to build value across a diverse client/customer base while driving commercial growth for Marsh McLennan, Mercer, and Marsh. This leader will define, drive, and execute our Marketing strategy, aimed at generating superior impact in our clients, colleagues, and communities' growth. This position is a strategic business partner and leadership advisor, both for clients and colleagues' engagement, enhancing our brand and value proposition to drive growth and deliver results. The position will report both to our regional LAC MktgComms leader and the local CEO. We will count on you to: Local execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, including brand awareness, demand generation, conversion campaigns, content, digital, events, media, community outreach, and internal communications, aligned with business and commercial priorities in the country for the different audiences of Marsh McLennan, Marsh, and Mercer. Drive end-to-end insights (demand generation engine and dashboard) and return on marketing investment. Create and implement innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies and campaigns via strong collaboration with product, sales, and business teams. Ensure our brands in the portfolio are communicated in a compelling and consistent manner across all channels and touchpoints. Develop 'always on' digital marketing strategies to drive SEO/SEM, build our digital footprint, and create content journeys that connect end consumers with our products/services/capabilities through engagement. Own messaging in partnership with the business and sales to stay ahead of market trends and create a constant feedback loop with our different clients' needs. Establish a powerful marketing funnel, ensuring leads are qualified for sales follow-up through our CRM system. Grow, lead, and empower a collaborative team of marketers to create a high-performing, innovative, and positive team culture. Maintain a proactive approach to reputational risk management and expand media relationships while ensuring client value remains at the forefront. Lead a client-first, CX mindset, developing a data-informed position on who current and target clients are, and implementing strategies and tactics that help us acquire and retain valuable relationships. Manage the marketing budget, including allocation of spend to achieve company targets. Foster collaboration between business units to maximize client impact and value, developing actionable marketing campaigns to support the go-to-market strategy. Act as a brand ambassador of Marsh McLennan, Marsh, and Mercer. What you need to have: Proven ability to bring the whole firm/enterprise and drive client value in an integrated approach. Demonstrates high-learning agility and desire to broaden understanding of Marsh McLennan clients and capabilities. Aligns resources and actions towards achievement of goals. Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders with a strategic and execution mindset. Proven ability to engage colleagues and build high-performing teams and inclusive cultures. Proven and dynamic leadership capability, able to provide strategic counsel with effective team building skills and conflict resolution management within complex organizations. 10+ years of progressive experience in leading, planning, and executing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing. Experience in the financial services industry is preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence effectively at a senior leadership level locally. Advanced subject matter knowledge of traditional and digital marketing including industry-leading MarTech. Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy, impact, or efficiency. Innovative mindset, willing to challenge the status quo and move quickly to test and learn new strategies and tactics. Solid research skills with the ability to stay ahead of current marketing industry trends. Strong attention to detail and exceptional judgement, ideally gained in a heavily regulated industry.
