Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing & Communications team at Marsh McLennan.
This role will be based in Santiago de Chile.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.The Country Marketing & Communications Leader will grow, scale and lead a dynamic Marketing & Communications team to build value across a diverse client/customer base while driving commercial growth for Marsh McLennan, Mercer and Marsh.
This leader will define, drive and execute our Marketing strategy, aimed at generating superior impact in our clients, colleagues and communities´ growth.This position is a strategic business partner and leadership advisor, both for clients and colleagues´ engagement, enhancing our brand and value proposition to drive growth and deliver results.

We help our clients navigate the complexity, unfolding new possibilities in the most pressing issues of our time.We will count on you to:Local execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, (including brand awareness, demand generation and conversion campaigns, content, digital, events, media, community outreach and internal communications), aligned with business and commercial priorities in the country for the different audiences of Marsh McLennan, Marsh and Mercer, leveraging global Marketing Centers of Excellence.Driving end-to-end insights (demand generation engine and dashboard) and return on marketing investment (aligned with global standards and best practice).Creates and implements innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies and campaigns via strong collaboration with product, sales, and business teams.Ensures our brands in the portfolio are communicated in a compelling and consistent manner across all channels and touchpoints.Through a digital/mobile first lens, develops 'always on' digital marketing strategies to drive SEO/SEM, builds our digital footprint and creates content journeys that connect end consumers with our products/services/capabilities through engagement.Owns messaging in partnership with the business and sales to stay ahead of market trends and creates a constant feedback loop with our different clients' needs.Establishes a powerful marketing funnel, ensuring leads are qualified for sales follow up through our CRM system.Grows, leads and empowers a collaborative team of marketers to create a high-performing, innovative and positive team culture, with career pathing and operational excellence in mind.Given the nature of our business and the associated regulated environment, maintains a proactive approach to reputational risk management, expands media relationships while ensuring client value remains at the forefront.Leads a client-first, CX mindset, developing a data-informed position on who current and target clients are, and implementing strategies and tactics that help us acquire and retain valuable relationships.Manages the marketing budget, including allocation of spend to achieve company targets.Fosters collaboration between business units to maximize client impact and value, developing actionable marketing campaigns to support the go-to-market strategy.
Acts as a brand ambassador of Marsh McLennan, Marsh and Mercer.What you need to have:Proven ability to bring the whole firm/enterprise and drive client value in an integrated approachDemonstrates high-learning agility and desire to broaden understanding of Marsh McLennan clients and capabilities.Aligns resources and actions towards achievement of goals.Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and manage with a strategic and execution mindset.Proven ability to engage colleagues and build high performing teams and inclusive cultures.Proven and dynamic leadership capability, able to provide strategic counsel with effective team building skills and conflict resolution management within complex organizations.10+ years of progressive experience in leading, planning and executing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing.
Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence effectively at a senior leadership level locally, developing valued, trusted relationships/ partnerships to meet shared commercial outcomes.Advanced subject matter knowledge of traditional and digital marketing including industry-leading MarTech.
Experience of managing marketing campaigns across the web and integrating with marketing automation systems including knowledge and experience in SEO and SEM campaigns/techniques, online channels including social media, online video and associated metrics.Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy, impact, or efficiency.Innovative mindset, willing to challenge the status quo and move quickly to test and learn new strategies and tactics.
This also relates to a level of resourcefulness and proven ability to do more with less.Solid research skills with the ability to stay ahead of current marketing industry trends.Strong attention to detail and exceptional judgement, ideally gained in a heavily regulated industry - comfortable with a fast-paced environmentUniversity degree educated.What makes you stand out?The ideal candidate will have strong operational capabilities, outcome-oriented, a creative problem solver, highly collaborative with a track record in working in complex, financial organizations, and be able to drive cultural transformation within the business.
