Job Title: Relationship Manager (Corporate Banker) Function: Development and maintenance of relationships with corporate clients Reports to: Head of CBD Purpose of the Job: Bring new business opportunities to the bank Maintain good relationship with clients of the bank Provide income to the bank Key responsibilities & Accountabilities Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessment to provide clients with optimal banking solutions.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest financial products and services, advising clients on the most suitable options available.
Deal Structuring: Assist clients in structuring and negotiating financial deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Financial Modeling: Create and review financial models to support credit decisions and business development initiatives.
Credit Evaluation: Assess the creditworthiness of clients, preparing detailed credit reports and recommendations.
Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends in the financial industry.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as risk management, legal, and compliance, to deliver seamless financial services to clients.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and market trends to expand the client base.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating potential risks.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation for credit approvals, client meetings, and internal reviews.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor analysts and other partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate banking, financial analysis, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and banking software applications.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
