Support to Finance Manager and Country Manager for planning, directing, and coordinating the company's finance and accounting activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, general ledger accounting, cost accounting, and accounts payable/receivable. In charge of the internal and external audits.
Maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results align with generally accepted accounting principles. Support to Accounting team to mitigate any risk related to taxes and statutory local requirements.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Perform Month End closing to a strict timetable for Financials into Reporting system HFM. Reporting scope includes P&L, Balance sheet, TWC metrics, Headcount and other statistical requirements.Ownership of served sites financial documents.Manages, leads and develops a team of finance professionals.Takes necessary steps to address issues that may impact performance.Own the Management Information reporting to all team members ensuring it succinctly communicates issues and actions to improve the results.Actively maintain awareness of Emerson CFP's and GAAP standards to ensure continuing compliance with all applicable standards.Direct the development process, analysis and reporting of monthly financial requirements for the entity, including financial documents (balance sheet and P&L), POR's and management reports. Direct the development, analysis of major factors and formal review documents to present to Senior Management. Direct the preparation of review/analysis details for review with responsible management to ensure accuracy of projections, understanding of variances and recommendations for corrective actions.Provide analysis of both projected and actual performance to POR for Volume and Profitability.Direct the development process, analysis and presentation of annual Financial Reviews, Profitability Review's, Presidents' Councils and Board Meetings for Local Senior Management. Work with local and regional management in establishing financial objectives; development of historical and projected operation performance detail; development of presentation detail with for presentation to Management.Direct the availability and quality of technical services for all levels of management regarding accounting issues and/or financial analysis including cost reduction programs; capital spending and return on investment justification; identification and resolution of performance issues.Development, analyze, interpret and report statistical and accounting information, in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and other matters bearing on operating effectiveness of the organization.Direct the preparation of annual tax work papers, Emerson internal or independent financial audits, and governmental audits.Perform Quarterly control and review taxes accomplishment to mitigate any risk.Responsible to implement and review local process according the CPP to set up internals guidelines to support local operation and business.Attend and make finance presentation to support management.Additional ad-hoc functions and analysis as directed by America´s CFO.Who You Are:You work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
