Job Title: Construction Specialist IV (General/Other) (SAN00ZG) Company: Worley Primary Location Schedule Full-time Employment Type: Employee Job Level: Experienced Purpose of Role Provides construction site expertise during construction phases of projects to interpret designs, adjust designs to meet site conditions, oversee construction supervision, and provide final approval of completed construction tasks to ensure construction conforms to design specifications. Develop and maintain construction practices for the project. Control and coordinate construction activities to ensure assigned projects are delivered to the clients satisfaction and according to safety, quality, time and budget parameters. Responsibilities Recognized as a technical expert and thought leader within construction, providing consultation to engineering and construction site management in their area of expertise. Makes independent decisions and recommendations for several large independent projects. Decisions not typically subject to technical review. Decisions involve social, environmental, and project impact. Works with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance. Influence over duties. Receives administrative direction based on organization policies and objectives. Work is reviewed to ensure conformity with policy and for coordination of other company departments. What you will bring Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools. Typical Qualifications University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience. Experience varies based on education background. Those with degree typically have 10+ years relevant experience. Those with trade qualifications will typically have 12+ years relevant experience.
