Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Cluster General Manager to lead our operations across our WCSA Cluster (Chile, Peru & Bolivia) based in Santiago, Chile. This position will require a unique combination of leadership skills, team management, and deep understanding of local markets in the assigned countries. This role is expected to provide critical leadership, customer delivering innovation, optimization, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of long-term strategies aimed at securing the company's growth and sustainability. Through leadership, the Cluster GM will foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and excellence, ensuring the organization remains competitive and responsive to market demands. Additionally, the role involves engaging with key stakeholders to fortify relationships and enhance the company's market presence, while ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations. Main Responsibilities: You will be responsible for driving a high-performance culture ensuring financial, operational and HSEQ targets are met, implementing strategies to keep a management team that creates, sustains, and embeds a culture of employee engagement as well as strong development plans. Oversee and direct daily operations in the three assigned countries. Develop and implement strategies to maximize growth and profitability in each market. Manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve specific objectives. Maintain effective relationships with key clients, business partners, and local stakeholders. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards across all operations. Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities and risks. Requirements: Our ideal candidate will already be operating at a senior level with proven experience of leading operational teams in the shipping industry. You will be able to demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships and possess strong people management skills with the ability to create a high-performance culture through coaching and development whilst implementing sustainable improvements to drive business performance. Strong commercial acumen with experience of leading and motivating large teams are also critical. Proven experience in executive leadership roles, preferably in a multinational environment, communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to motivate and lead a diverse team. Strong communication and negotiation skills in diverse cultural settings. Deep knowledge of local markets in the three assigned countries, understanding 7of the shipping industry, including international regulations and standards. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make strategic decisions. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field is required. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is highly desirable. Fluent in Spanish and English. Must have experience in the shipping industry. The role is based in Santiago, Chile.
