Type of position: Regular Your future role on our team Upon joining our Earth and Infrastructure team, you'll assist in mining projects (tailings dams, water management systems, waste rock, open pit, etc.). As a consulting engineer, you'll support a wide variety of tailings storage facilities and waste rock spoils projects, including dam safety inspections and reviews, field investigation, laboratory testing and interpretation, design and construction. Support the commissioning of tailings management systems and hydraulic structures. Participate in cross-functional engineering projects, from design to field supervision. Play an active role in continuously improving methodologies and work standards. Results-driven. Autonomy. Preferred qualifications Experience with geotechnical and hydraulic numerical modelling software. Familiarity with AI tools applied to engineering. Knowledge of international tailings management standards. Advanced English, both spoken and written. Asset: knowledge of French. Overview of certifications and job requirements University degree in Civil or Mining Engineering with a specialization in geotechnics, hydraulics or tailings; a post-graduate degree would be an asset. At least 5 years of experience in projects related to stability analysis, monitoring, tailings management and hydraulic design. Knowledge of applicable local and international standards. Strong technical writing skills for high-level reports. Experience with numerical modelling tools and software such as Python or similar. Availability to conduct site visits, when required.
