InchcapeShippingServices Business Need / Purpose of Role: The Senior Accountant reporting to Finance Manager will be primarily responsible to ensure a smooth processing of the financial transactions and maintain tight financial control over local compliance, local payroll and cash Objectives & Measurement – Key Responsibilities Implementation of accounting standards according to Group Standards.Full responsibility for yearly tax process (Declaración de Renta).Full responsibility for the financial accounts (each month) including statutory audit at year-end.Ensure VAT and withholding tax requirements are met on a timely basis.Co-ordinate with the Finance Manager for various compliances and assist him in their requirements.Assist FM and debtors clerk to manage job accounts / receivables.
Post bank paymentsEnsure compliance with internal control procedures including Corporate Handbook and ensure satisfactory internal audits.Review of business processes periodically to comply with the local government requirements and are fit for purpose.Help to Roll out of several projects that will impact on a positive way the whole company.Fund account of Staff, analysis check, account and their accounting records.Fixed Assets control: Records of additions, low fixed assets, depreciation and monthly account analysis.Ensure accurate and timely accounting into our system.
Support FM to ensure local compliance and global compliance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities English intermediate level is preferredKnowledge of Accounting, Taxes (VAT), and overall Business AdministrationExcel intermediate or more requiredAbility to prepare financial and account records.Work cohesively with other departments Education, Qualifications, Certifications, and Licenses Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.Technical Degree or higher on Business Administration, Accounting or similar- years experience in similar positions Why Inchcape Shipping Services?
