The ideal candidate is customer service focused and used to delivering on promises.
They should have experience in the region and a network of contacts in the drilling industry sector, along with proven results in business development for an oilfield services company.
This individual should be technically strong regarding drilling rigs and related inspection services.
The company is looking for: Experience: 5+ years in business development with a focus on drilling industry projects.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the drilling sector, including upstream/downstream operations and related technologies.
Network: Established relationships within the MENA region's drilling and oil & gas sectors.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Attributes: Self-motivated, adaptable, and a strategic thinker with a passion for achieving targets.
Proactive and results-driven.
Strong technical background in a similar or identical industry.
Good IT skills, especially in MS applications, with the ability to prepare detailed documents, quotations, and tender responses.
Willing and able to spend some evenings and weekends at industry events and entertaining clients.
Extremely self-motivated and continually challenges themselves.
Strong planning and time management skills.
