For one of our clients, the biggest bank in Spain, we are looking for a Back Engineer to join the client's team that is working on a real-time event processing platform. Your job will be to provide an event framework with architecture based on Kafka and Kafka streams to process streaming data, allowing the bank a global view in real time and triggering automations or alerts if necessary. Your main tasks will include: Development of applications and components. Development and deployment of services. Unit testing. Debugging and bug fixing. Continuous improvement. Qualifications What are we looking for? You will fit into the team if you like technology, want to understand the risks faced by the client, constantly learn about new technologies, and care about improving your soft skills in addition to your technical skills. Messaging or event-driven architecture (Kafka) Streaming data processing frameworks: Kafka Streams or Flink Java with Spring / Spring Boot and Maven frameworks Drools Relational and non-relational databases Code version control with Git Synchronous REST services: OpenAPI (JSON / YAML) Asynchronous REST services: AsyncAPI Deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications: Kubernetes/OpenShift It would be great if you also have experience in: React Python OpenTelemetry Elasticsearch Public clouds: AWS and Azure Security standards to implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, JWT...)
