The Application Operations Improvement Engineer role will be responsible for enhancing the performance and reliability of our sold complex solutions and applications that are currently operationally underperforming. The efforts will directly impact our brand recognition and customer satisfaction, ensuring that our products meet the high standards expected by Emerson and our clients. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Analyze and diagnose issues affecting the performance of existing instrumentation complex applications and solutions. Collaborate with the instrumentation teams, including Operations, Service, Sales and Solutions Architect, as well as Development, Support, and the Product Management teams, to identify root causes of operational problems. Develop and implement improvement plans to enhance application functionality and user experience. Monitor application performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular reviews and audits of application operations to ensure compliance with best practices and standards. Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients regarding application performance issues. Create and maintain documentation related to application improvements, processes, lessons learned, and best practices. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for operational challenges. Support Sales leaders in project pursuit activities when needed. Provide feedback and expertise to the Inside Sales teams. Participate in all mandatory training provided by the company, such as those related to Trade Compliance and all training related to compliance with legal regulations and/or Corporate Policies, and may also be the mentor/guide of these issues if required. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships. For This Role, You Will Need: Engineering degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field. Strong knowledge of instrumentation, wireless, communication protocols, and industrial standards. Proven experience in application support, operations, or improvement roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence. Minimum five (5) years of Engineering experience in industrial measurements. English intermediate is a must. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience in the development and implementation of instrumentation solutions for the M&M industry is preferred.
