Job purpose: As a member of the Region leadership team, he/she will lead the development and execution of strategic projects internally and with business partners. Additionally, he/she will act as a chief of staff for the Region Vice President.
Role Definition: Leads development and execution of the mid to long-term business development strategy with the business partners in a given territory or market.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Leads cross-functional collaboration with business partners across the organization and outside consultants to gain industry trends and collect voice of the customer and voice of the business to propose ideas for business growth.
- Manages metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools in place to monitor performance and develop processes to increase the sale
- Planning and directing all projects viewed as critical to department and the enterprise
- Gather information and assess the market including competitive issues, market dynamics, market service needs and the company position in the industry by securing a leadership role within the trade associations, technical bodies and schools particular to this sector.
Skills: Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
Basic Qualifications: - College degree in Business or related field with ten years of progressive job-related experience.
- Previous strategy development, project management and 6 Sigma/Lean experience.
- Pre Advanced English
Desired Qualifications: - Experience in the field or working directly with dealers.
- Basic Portuguese.
