Job Summary:Bechtel is looking for a Vendors Coordinator for Mining and Metals team, based in Ujina, Chile. The position will be responsible for coordinating vendors for construction, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and off-site operation activities.Major Responsibilities: Coordinating the process of accreditation of national and international personnel to access the field. Carrying out the logistical coordination to move vendors to the field (transportation, accommodation, airfare, food, etc.). Coordinating required vendors on site or at other vendor facilities to visit and advise through construction, testing, commissioning, commissioning and operational activities. Managing the schedule of visits of the vendor's representative to the construction site, leading to effective interaction between it and other parties, including engineering, construction, contractors and operations. Planning the scheduled visits of the vendors with the operations training programs. Coordinating suppliers through system and zone reviews, and the task list. Coordinating the deliverables of the vendors necessary for the development of the billing records. Following up on vendors commitments in relation to budget and forecasts. Planning, controlling and managing the rotation activities of the systems and areas of the project from the end of construction to engineering, pre-commissioning and acceptance by the client. Education and Experience Requirements: 7 years of experience related to the position. 3 years of experience in the mining industry; proven experience in large projects in vendors coordination and customer relationship. Required Knowledge and Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish). Knowledge of Microsoft (intermediate level). Demonstrated knowledge of shift rotation requirements. Knowledge of the organizational structure, functions and procedures of EPC/EPCM company. Demonstrated knowledge in field engineering, pre-commissioning and completions. In-depth knowledge of company standard computerized systems EPC/EPCM and other information transmission systems. BSAP tools, intermediate level (desirable). Great organizational skills.
