Job DetailsPosition Mission:
Analyze information and collaborate in the execution of research projects in their area of performance.

Main Activities:
Prepare and review research materials.Take, process, and analyze data.Participate in field activities and sampling (if applicable).Prepare project reports and attend interdisciplinary meetings.Continuing training in their specialty.Work in office, laboratory, field, or boats, as needed.RequirementsRequirements: Professional degree in Marine Biology, Aquaculture or similar.Knowledge of research methodologies.Class B driver's license.Competence profile aligned with the position (psychological and labor evaluation). Desirable: Experience in field work and analysis of marine biological samples.Experience in design, generation and analysis of scientific data, preferably in marine ecology.Knowledge of sampling techniques and analysis of ecological data.Knowledge of reproductive biology and development of early stages of bivalves.Skills for analysis and interpretation of hydrobiological information.Availability for field work.Advanced writing in Spanish and technical reading in English.Basic English.Contact InformationThe Institute for Fisheries Development (IFOP)
