General Vision and Main Functions We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our team. Based in the city of Santiago de Chile, reporting to the Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a right process control, which guarantees stability and capacity to meet the technical specifications and customer requirements, through standardization and continuous improvement of methods and procedures, maintaining Safety, Occupational Health and Environment standards. Main Responsibilities Validate and approve new methods, processes, products and/or raw materials in the plant, as well as establish and improve production standards associated with machine efficiency and material control. Ensure that all process instructions (process sheets, operating instructions) are updated, documented, and kept up to date over time. Collaborate in the study of the needs for new equipment or the relocation of existing ones, so the plant keeps a good manufacturing capacity. Investigation , resolution, and corrective and preventive actions to process problems in the manufacturing area associated with quality. Monitor, control and improve the stability and variability of processes using statistical process control. Develop and lead cost reduction projects and productivity improvements in the machines under their responsibility (LSS). Actively participate in the 6S Housekeeping program at the plant, leading the audits and action plans of the areas under their responsibility. Promote corporate safety, quality and environmental requirements, specific to the company and established in the ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards applicable to the area. Comply with the company's safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures. Actively participate in the programs and trainings, and report any associated matter (Incidents, non-compliant product, machine failure, potential risks, environmental events, near-misses). Who We Are Looking For? We are looking for a worker with the following skills: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Metallurgical or related Engineer. Previous experience in the position is not required, but preferably experience in productive environments. Knowledge of production processes (unit operations, efficiencies, mechanical processes, among others). Knowledge of legal aspects inherent to their position. Knowledge of regulatory requirements: ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and internal and corporate procedures applicable to your area. MS Office medium level. Preferable but not mandatory: English Advanced level. Preferable: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools. Knowledge in Minitab or other statistic software.
