The LATAM Packaging and Sustainability Manager is responsible for leading technical capability across the LATAM region for core packaging platforms. This includes coaching, resolving complex issues, and continuously improving capabilities (Value Engineering, CQAs and OEE). This role ensures that our packaged products and devices are delivered to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and robustness, consistently and on time, across various internal and external sites. This role will provide the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Proficient in diverse technical packaging platforms (blister, bottles, sachets, tubes, spray devices). Work with LATAM sites/CMO network and global procurement to identify, prioritize and execute projects to improve packaging sustainability, efficiency and customer experience. Lead the LATAM packaging strategy execution to meet sustainability targets. Lead the LATAM packaging community, coaching and mentoring on packaging and sustainability topics. Work with global category, on complex maintenance projects and acts as the lead for LATAM on global initiatives impacting across sites and CMO (e.g. packaging reporting, CRSF). Provides technical leadership and input into Root Cause analysis to support complex investigations and resolution of packaging complaints and product deviations and investigations, in conjunction with QA. Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering; or related disciplines. 10+ years experience broad ranging packaging expertise. Wide mix of materials and manufacturing and processing technology understanding. Expert in product-pack and pack-machine interface to drive OEE improvements. Experience in developing and transferring new packages to a high production volume manufacturing facility. Strong knowledge of sustainability regulations and guidelines for packaging. Experience in technical due diligence, supplier and equipment assessment. Advanced level of English (mandatory). This position could be based in Argentina or Brazil.
