Description: The Deputy Country Manager will be responsible for working with the Country Director and the International Ops team in the assigned country. They will assist the country manager in administrative tasks, law enforcement relationships, outreach, and other responsibilities related to International Ops. This role will align with global best practices.
Responsibilities: Work directly with designated nation's law enforcement agencies to coordinate possible operations.Provide assessments of needs against child exploitation and improvement of trafficking investigations.Report ongoing investigations and planned operations to the country director.Assist in OUR Rescue expansion within the country.Coordinate with national and international partners and act as a liaison between OUR Rescue and those with which we have formed an alliance.Provide an energized, professional work environment that represents OUR Rescue values.Collaborate and strengthen OUR Rescue's relationships with current and new partners within their designated country.Coordinate hiring and training for the country when needed and with Regional Director approval.Collaborate and coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, NGOs, and US government officials based in the country.Maintain a strong presence with national and international police operations related to Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation.Follow standard procedures for preparing operations plans and after-action reports for both internal and external stakeholders.Support national and international rescue operations as needed.Function in an undercover capacity and interact with traffickers as needed on a case-by-case basis.Support in identifying resources needed to conduct successful operations. Complete funding request memos.Coordinate with Survivor Care in country when there is an impending rescue to ensure survivor support.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.2-3 years of experience working in the field of human trafficking and/or child sexual exploitation.Superb verbal, writing, and analytical skills.Cultural sensitivity and responsiveness.Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of OUR Rescue.Excellent at developing relationships with external and internal entities.Demonstrated ability to create and enforce a safe work environment.Strong drive to take initiative and work effectively without supervision.Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Strong ability to multitask and balance priorities.Proven ability to manage confidential information.Additional Requirements: Able to pass a background check and provide references and documentation for all relevant experience and certifications.
