FINANCIAL SERVICES MANAGER - ANSCO WILLING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION As Financial Services Manager you would have P&L and statutory responsibility for the captive finance organizations in the ANSCO region currently operating in Chile, Peru, and Columbia. The candidate will develop and grow financial services for end-user customers or distributors purchasing Sandvik products allowing them to grow their businesses. In this role, you report to the Director of Financial Services, Americas.
ROLE Complies with Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.Statutory compliance for legal entities in ChileFull P&L responsibility for a captive customer finance company with its processes and its portfolio in the regionManage directly or indirectly the back-office support team for the region.Develop and grow the relationships with customers within the region.Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers and distributors for the medium/long-term financing of capital equipment. Determine and negotiate credit terms and documentation, in line with the Group' spolicies and guidelines. Prepare offers and manage the process for preparing credit documents, supervising the registering loans and leases if applicable, ensuring correct accounting and financial reporting. Secure the safe processes for collection of payments. Manage the loan and lease portfolio, including security arrangements, collections, and, if applicable insurance. Train and educate Sandvik and dealer sales personnel on customer and dealer finance. Follow developments in relevant industries and financial markets. Develop tailor-made financing solutions to match customers needs.YOUR PROFILE Bachelors/Master's degree preferably in Accounting/FinanceKnowledge of Surface and Underground mining equipment lifecycle.10 years + experience in the Commercial Finance Industry is desirable5 years + management experienceFluent in Spanish and EnglishTravel RequiredWholesale finance experience a plusP&L management responsibilityExperience with asset valuationKnowledge of mining & construction industry is a definite plusTrue leasing/financing experience (e.g. extensive understanding of legal requirements for loan documentation, ability to modify standard documentation for specific applications)Business acumenCommercial Finance and Securitization knowledgeAccounting KnowledgeChange ManagementPeople Management and relationship buildingAbility to analyze financial statementsMust have excellent interpersonal and written communication skillsOTHER REQUIREMENTS: Availability to travel within and outside Chile.Application Deadline : June 25 th, 2024
