Descripción Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, his/her main responsibilities are:
Lead the local accounting, reporting and financial planning team.Direct staff responsible for the accounting, budget, and forecasting.Produce accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and in compliance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.Prepare or lead the preparation of reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.Provide and maintain adequate books and records of all financial transactions.Coordinate and assist with the annual Business Plan and other interim forecasts as requested by corporate, under the supervision of the Sr Finance Manager.Participate in the accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department, including identifying problem areas and developing resolutions to address them.Ensure the accounting and compliance policies and practices of the organization are followed.Oversee and evaluate the activities of the accounting staff, providing for their professional development and analyzing and solving accounting problems.Understand the Equal Opportunity and Harassment policies of the company, apply them in all aspects of management, and maintain an environment consistent with these policies.Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer) We are looking for a Public Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting for multinational companies. Strong decision-making and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously, with minimal involvement from management. Strong interpersonal skills to develop staff and persuade others to take action. Proficiency in English is required.
